Corporate Responsibility & Code of Conduct

At Duo Threads, we are committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically, and with respect for the people and communities involved in our business. As we grow, we strive to maintain a safe, respectful workplace while partnering with suppliers and manufacturers that share our expectations for ethical business practices, responsible manufacturing, and compliance with applicable laws.

These standards guide our own operations and communicate the expectations we have for our employees, suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and business partners.

Workplace Standards

Duo Threads is committed to providing a professional workplace where employees are treated fairly and with respect. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying, retaliation, or abusive conduct.

Employment practices and decisions are expected to comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws.

Forced Labor & Child Labor

Duo Threads prohibits the use of forced, bonded, indentured, trafficked, or involuntary labor within our operations and expects the same from our suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Child labor is prohibited. Workers must meet applicable legal minimum-age requirements in the country or jurisdiction where work is performed.

Wages, Hours & Benefits

Duo Threads complies with applicable wage, hour, overtime, and employment laws.

We expect suppliers and manufacturing partners to compensate workers in accordance with applicable local laws, including requirements related to minimum wages, overtime, working hours, and legally required benefits.

Health & Safety

We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. Employees, suppliers, and manufacturing partners are expected to follow applicable workplace health and safety requirements and take reasonable precautions to reduce workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.

Respectful Working Conditions

All workers should be treated with dignity and respect. Physical abuse, threats, sexual harassment, verbal abuse, intimidation, coercion, and other forms of workplace harassment or abuse are prohibited.

Ethical Business Practices

Duo Threads expects employees and business partners to conduct business honestly and ethically.

Bribery, corruption, fraud, falsification of records, improper payments, and other unlawful or unethical business practices are prohibited. Employees and business partners are expected to appropriately address conflicts of interest that could improperly influence business decisions.

Responsible Sourcing & Manufacturing

Duo Threads works with domestic and international suppliers and manufacturing partners to produce apparel, accessories, and other products.

We expect our production partners to:

  • Comply with applicable labor, employment, environmental, health, and safety laws.

  • Prohibit forced labor, human trafficking, and child labor.

  • Maintain safe and sanitary working conditions.

  • Treat workers fairly and respectfully.

  • Pay legally required wages and benefits.

  • Follow applicable working-hour and overtime requirements.

  • Maintain accurate business and employment records.

  • Conduct business ethically and lawfully.

Duo Threads may request information or documentation from suppliers regarding compliance with these standards. Identified violations may be addressed through corrective action, additional review, suspension of production, or termination of the business relationship, depending on the circumstances.

Environmental Responsibility

Duo Threads recognizes the environmental impact associated with apparel and consumer-product manufacturing. We seek opportunities to reduce unnecessary waste, improve operational efficiency, make responsible sourcing decisions, and work with suppliers that comply with applicable environmental regulations.

We will continue to evaluate opportunities to improve our practices as our company grows.

Product Quality & Consumer Responsibility

We are committed to providing products that meet our quality expectations and applicable product safety, labeling, licensing, and regulatory requirements.

We expect suppliers to accurately represent product materials, manufacturing processes, testing information, and other information necessary for regulatory compliance.

Intellectual Property

Duo Threads respects the intellectual property rights of universities, organizations, designers, artists, licensors, and other rights holders.

Employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners are expected to use trademarks, artwork, designs, copyrights, and other intellectual property only when properly authorized.

Reporting Concerns

Employees are encouraged to report suspected violations of this policy, workplace concerns, unsafe conditions, or unethical conduct to management.

Duo Threads prohibits retaliation against individuals who raise good-faith concerns or participate in an investigation regarding suspected misconduct.

Compliance & Accountability

All Duo Threads employees are expected to comply with these standards and applicable laws.

We also expect suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and other business partners to operate consistently with the principles outlined in this Code of Conduct. Failure to meet these expectations may result in corrective action or reconsideration of the business relationship.

Our Ongoing Commitment

As Duo Threads grows, we will continue to evaluate our workplace practices, supply chain, manufacturing relationships, and environmental impact. Our goal is to build a responsible company while maintaining high standards for our employees, customers, retail partners, licensors, and the communities we serve.
